Where Great Men Once
Convened...
is where young Filipinos found their greatness.
YTRiP Photo Adventure: Quiapo, Manila
17 January 2008
MassComm students from Pamantasan ng Lungsod
ng Marikina, armed with their cameras,
discovered the history, architecture, and urban
spirit of Quiapo. As an experiential lesson on photography,
our base was the historic and well-preserved Bahay
Nakpil (A. Bautista Street) from where the students
treaded on Quiapo's main streets.
Their experiences were diverse, but the result
was the same: courage and discovery in a place different
from what they have always known. We'll post the
photos they took soon.

and Ron Nieto from YTRiP, and Roberto Aguilar, their
teacher. Photo by Leo Villafranca ©2008.
